The Ideal Hunter (IDH) Academy is a nights & weekends youth-age enrichment program. Our whole-character approach develops student-athletes along three dimensions: Athletic, Academic, and Combative.

Program Summary:
Tier 3 (Entry Level) Blocks: Training is designed to develop student-athletes up to the ‘IDH Athletic Baseline’ through various functional fitness disciplines, ninja-warrior obstacles and partner challenges.
Tier 2 (Intermediate Level) Blocks: Suitable for established competitive athletes, this training takes student-athletes beyond the ‘IDH Athletic Baseline’.
Outcome Summary: Cultivation of strength, flexible stability, coordination, and explosiveness.

Program Summary: The cognitive Blocks of instruction takes student-athletes through a case-study on adaptable self-mastery.
Outcome Summary: Uses lecture, debate, philosophy, performance, and A.I. prompt engineering to understand and develop IDH core character traits within each student-athlete.

Program Summary: The combative Blocks of instruction feature kickboxing-style drills, skill exercises, and controlled sparring to develop student-athlete foundational and fundamental capabilities in striking, defense, awareness, and confidence.
Outcome Summary: Uses combative competition and cooperation to cultivate a warrior’s mindset.

IDH/Academy Courses:

Class: This course is comprised of weekly 50-min classes, and 3 unique Blocks of instruction.
Program Length: Open ended / varies per student-athlete. Student-athletes are eligible to graduate upon demonstrating the Athletic Baseline competency.
Ideal For: All students, regardless of current level of fitness. Best for middle-to-high school ages.
Pilot Program / Cost: General Public Pilot Program Tuition = $20/class + $20 initial registration fee. For a private version of the program, click the ‘HNW Client’ button below.
Community Partnerships: Currently active for private specialty clients only.

Class: This course is comprised of bi-weekly 1-hr 15-min classes, and 11 unique Blocks of instruction are available.
Program Length: This 8-week course is restarted on a quarterly basis and aligns with school sports seasons.
Ideal For: Graduates of Tier 3 Entry Level program, and competitive student-athletes. Best for high school age students seeking an advantage over their peers and rivals.
Pilot Program / Cost: General Public Pilot Program Tuition = $480 for the 8-week course + $20 initial registration fee. For a private version of the program, click the ‘HNW Client’ button below.

Class: This course features variable delivery models, and is customized per client.
Program Length: Credit-hour equivalents vary with delivery model. Delivery options range from a bi-weekly IDH Course to an IDH Gap Semester/Year.
Ideal For: Matriculating students, gap year students, or college-age students.

Who we are
The IDH/Academy started as a passion project. The garage gym slowly morphed into a more commercialized space, and dads with their youth-age boys began coming over. A Virginia Beach City grassroots coalition of partners began to form, and a Pilot Program was launched to formally develop the concept into a scalable and deployable program, curriculum, product and service. The IDH/Academy is now expanding into the Community Partner space as the next phase of maturation emerges into a future-oriented business masterplan with national expectations.
